The Crystal Codex is an all-analog, multi-stage JFET overdrive pedal. With no artificial diode-clamp distortion and over 115 dB gain on tap, it delivers genuine tube-like dynamics, touch sensitivity, and harmonics.
Runs internally at 34V (stepped up from standard 9V) for an amp-like response that feels alive.
Shift seamlessly from edge-of-breakup, to singing violin-like sustain, to classic rock crunch, to tight high-gain saturation ideal for palm-muting and modern heavy riffs. An optional Noise-Gate upgrade is available for high-gain players.
Shape your tone precisely with a 3-band EQ (Bass, Middle, Treble) plus a Presence control. The ◉ ◐ ◯ toggle switch provides three distinct voicing options.

Do I need the Noise Gate?
Probably not. If you're not running extremely high gain, the Codex cleans up fine on its own. The gate option is primarily for players pushing deep into high-gain who want dead-silent muting built right into the pedal.
