The Crystal Codex is an all-analog, multi-stage JFET overdrive pedal. With no artificial diode-clamp distortion and over 110dB gain on tap, it delivers genuine tube-like dynamics, touch sensitivity, and harmonics.
Runs internally at 33V (stepped up from standard 9V) for an amp-like response that feels alive.
Shift seamlessly from edge-of-breakup, to singing violin-like sustain, to classic rock crunch, to tight high-gain saturation ideal for palm-muting and modern heavy riffs. An optional Noise-Gate upgrade is available for high-gain players.
Shape your tone precisely with a 3-band EQ (Bass, Middle, Treble) plus a Presence control. The ◉ ◐ ◯ toggle switch provides three distinct voicing options.

Do I need the Noise Gate?
Probably not. If you're not running sky-high gain settings, the Codex cleans up fine on its own. If you already have a gate on your board, you're covered. The gate option is primarily for players pushing deep into high-gain who want dead-silent muting built right into the pedal.
